We often get questions from hotels that when they run the Reservations Report with "balances" loaded, some of the bookings show 0 Balance, but when they open the booking they will find that there is actually a balance to be paid.


In Mews the balance of the bill is linked to the Guest's Profile, whereas in many other PMS solutions the bill is linked to the booking/room. Because the bill is linked to the Guest's Profile, in order for you to show the balance of the guest in the Reservations Report, you have to ensure that a person is assigned to the booking.


If you remove all companions from the booking, unfortunately we cannot link any bill balance in the Reservations Report.
